okay the video is priceless, especially for record store people and R&B fanboys. and the song is hype as fuck. gilles peterson had it like 6 weeks ago on test press, god love him.
what store is that they filmed in? my first thought was that one in the basement on the fulton mall in brooklyn, but it's like too small for that.
i can i.d. 99% of the record covers she's biting, but what's that light blue LP cover with the two faces on the bottom at 1:40? it looks JUST like the first Feelies record, but that makes no sense. i know it must be some soul LP.

The beat that 9th wonder samples here is a Nancy Wilson track from the mid-70s that I "discovered" back in my earlier digging days without any help from DJ types. It feels good to know back then I knew how to pick 'em.
